Romans 8: 31-19

Romans
8: 31-39
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all,
how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
Who shall bring any charges against God’s elect?
It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn?
Christ Jesus is the one who died – more than that, who was raised –  who is at the right hand of God,
who indeed is interceding for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation , or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger , or sword?
As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers,
nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth,
nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God
in Christ Jesus our Lord.

My Way (Female)

Lyrics
And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I’ll say it clear
I’ll state my case, of which I’m certain

I’ve lived a life that’s full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way

Regrets, I’ve had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption

I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way

Yes, there were times, I’m sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all, and I stood tall
And did it my way

I’ve loved, I’ve laughed and cried
I’ve had my fill, my share of losing
And now, as tears subside
I find it all so amusing

To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way
Oh, no, oh, no, not me
I did it my way

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows
And did it my way

Yes, it was my way”,True

New Angel In Heaven

New Angel In Heaven

Father hold me close, and raise me up above the pain.
Gently wipe away the tears that fall like summer rain.
Give me faith and grace to know my child is not alone,
And that my angel waits for me until you call me home.

So Dear Lord please pity me,
Lift the darkness, set me free.
Command Your angels sing to sleep,
The little one I just could not keep

Father hold me close, and raise me up above the pain.
Gently wipe away the tears that fall like summer rain.
Give me faith and grace to know my child is not alone,
And that my angel waits for me until you call me home.

I held you close for a little while,
A fragile body, radiant smile.
Then you left whilst I must stay,
To wait until my final days.

Father hold me close, and raise me up above the pain.
Gently wipe away the tears that fall like summer rain.
Give me faith and grace to know my child is not alone,
And that my angel waits for me until you call me home.

Take my sadness, take my pain,
Hjelp me find joy once again.
And when my days are all but done,
Bring me to, my little one.

Father hold me close, and raise me up above the pain.
Gently wipe away the tears that fall like summer rain.
Give me faith and grace to know my child is not alone,
And that my angel waits for me until you call me home.

OT Ecclesiastes 3.1-8

OT Ecclesiastes 3. 1-8

(3: 1-8)

There is an appointed time for everything,
and a time for every affair under the heavens.
A time to give birth, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant.
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to tear down, and a time to build.
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones, and a time to gather them;
a time to embrace,
and a time to be far from embraces.
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away.
A time to rend, and a time to sew;
a time to be silent, and a time to speak.
A time to love, and a time to hate;
a time of war, and a time of peace.

Gospel John 6-51-58

Gospel John 6- 51-58

A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To John

6: 51-58

Jesus said to the crowds:
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven;
whoever eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I will give is my flesh
for the life of the world.”
The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying,
“How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?”
Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you,
unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man
and drink his blood, you do not have life within you.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.
For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
remains in me and I in him.
Just as the living Father sent me
and I have life because of the Father,
so also the one who feeds on me will have life
because of me.
This is the bread that came down from heaven.
Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died,
whoever eats this bread will live forever.”

OT Ezekiel 37;12-14

OT Ezekiel 37; 12-14

37: 12-14

Therefore, prophesy and say to them:
thus says the Lord GOD:
Look! I am going to open your graves;
I will make you come up out of your graves,
my people, and bring you back to the land of Israel. You shall know that I am the LORD,
when I open your graves
and make you come up out of them, my people!
I will put my spirit in you that you may come to life,
and I will settle you in your land.
Then you shall know that I am the LORD.
I have spoken; I will do it.

Gospel Luke 24-13-16,28-35

Gospel Luke 24- 13-16,28-35

A Reading From The Holy Gospel According To Luke

24: 13-16,28-35

Now that very day two of them were going to a village
seven miles from Jerusalem called Emmaus,
and they were conversing about all the things
that had occurred.
And it happened that while they were conversing
and debating, Jesus himself drew near
and walked with them, but their eyes
were prevented from recognizing him.
As they approached the village
to which they were going, he gave the impression
that he was going on farther.
But they urged him, “Stay with us,
for it is nearly evening and the day is almost over.”
So he went in to stay with them.
And it happened that, while he was with them at table,
he took bread, said the blessing, broke it,
and gave it to them.
With that their eyes were opened and they
recognized him, but he vanished from their sight.
Then they said to each other, “Were not our hearts
burning within us while he spoke to us on the way
and opened the scriptures to us?”
So they set out at once and returned to Jerusalem
where they found gathered together the eleven
and those with them who were saying,
“The Lord has truly been raised
and has appeared to Simon!”
Then the two recounted what had taken place
on the way and how he was made known to them
in the breaking of the bread.

The Gospel of the Lord

OT Isaiah 35-1-10

OT Isaiah 35- 1-10

35: 1-10

The wilderness and the parched land will exult;
the Arabah will rejoice and bloom;
like the crocus it shall bloom abundantly,
and rejoice with joyful song.
The glory of Lebanon will be given to it,
the splendor of Carmel and Sharon;
they will see the glory of the LORD,
the splendor of our God.
Strengthen hands that are feeble,
make firm knees that are weak,
say to the fearful of heart:
be strong, do not fear!
Here is your God,
he comes with vindication;
with divine recompense
he comes to save you.
Then the eyes of the blind shall see,
and the ears of the deaf be opened;
then the lame shall leap like a stag,
and the mute tongue sing for joy.
For waters will burst forth in the wilderness,
and streams in the Arabah.
The burning sands will become pools,
and the thirsty ground, springs of water;
the abode where jackals crouch
will be a marsh for the reed and papyrus.
A highway will be there,
called the holy way;
no one unclean may pass over it,
but it will be for his people;
no traveler, not even fools, shall go astray on it.
No lion shall be there,
nor any beast of prey approach, nor be found.
But there the redeemed shall walk,
and the ransomed of the LORD shall return,
and enter Zion singing,
crowned with everlasting joy;
they meet with joy and gladness,
sorrow and mourning flee away.

The Word of the Lord

Here I Am Lord

Here I Am Lord

I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard My people cry.
All who dwell in dark and sin My hand will save.
I, who made the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright.
Who will bear My light to them – whom shall I send?

Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if You lead me;
I will hold Your people in my heart.

I, the Lord of snow and rain,
I have borne My people’s pain.
I have wept for love of them; they turn away.
I will break their hearts of stone,
Give them hearts for love alone.
I will speak My Word to them – whom shall I send?

Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if You lead me;
I will hold Your people in my heart.

I, the Lord of wind and flame,
I will tend the poor and lame.
I will set a feast for them; My hand will save.
Finest bread I will provide,
Till their hearts be satisfied.
I will give My life to them – whom shall I send?

Here I am, Lord. Is it I, Lord
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if You lead me;
I will hold Your people in my heart.

OT Wisdom 3;1-6.9

OT Wisdom 3; 1-6.9

The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God,
and no torment shall touch them.
They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead;
and their passing away was thought an affliction
and their going forth from us, utter destruction.
But they are in peace.
For if to others, indeed, they seem punished,
yet is their hope full of immortality;
chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed,
because God tried them
and found them worthy of himself.
As gold in the furnace, he proved them,
and as sacrificial offerings he took them to himself.
Those who trust in him shall understand truth,
and the faithful shall abide with him in love:
because grace and mercy are with his holy ones,
and his care is with the elect.
